May Goals

Now that I’ve put my planner in the freezer to make my May goals reappear (yes, that sentence makes NO SENSE if you missed my post about the disappearing ink), let’s just see how I’m doing. 1. Complete Iron Series. – Unless something goes wrong, I should be able to check this one off! I have two workouts left. 2. Read seven books.- Again, I think I’ve got this one! I’ve read six and am now about 50 pages into Yesteryear, which I’m enjoying (sorry Engie- we will discuss when I’ve finished the book!) 3. Buy wedding shoes. – Um… check? I did buy shoes for the wedding, but they won’t arrive till the weekend so I don’t know if they actually fit. If they do, amazing- if not, this will go onto the list of June goals. 4. Schedule colonoscopy. – HA! Did it! Well- I scheduled the consultation, and I’ll schedule the procedure at that appointment. I can’t wait. Eye roll. 4. Find dermatologist. – Okay, there are still three days left. I’ve given up on trying to get a recommendation, and am going to wing it with a random practice nearby. I have their website pulled up on my computer, so this is just a phone call away… 5. Stop binge eating. – This was a bad goal, way too vague. My issue is coming home from work starving and laying into a box of crackers, or something else salty and crunchy. I did better on some days but not all. I need to reconfigure this goal for June and make it more concrete and achievable. That’s it! Time to get to work on some June goals. Hopefully I won’t have too many rollovers. Do you set monthly goals? If so, how did you do for May? Top photo by Planet Volumes on Unsplash
