July Coffee Date- It’s WEDDING MONTH!!!
Yes, I HAVE ordered this mug- it should arrive any day now and I’ll be drinking out of it for the rest of the month! Three weeks from today I’ll be in Valparaiso, setting things up and getting ready for the rehearsal dinner. The wedding is on the 25th, and from now on all I’ll be thinking is “blah blah blah WEDDING blah blah WEDDING blah WEDDING WEDDING WEDDING!” Recently I complained that I felt I should be doing more, but that has changed. I talked to my son, who has snapped into “wedding mode.” We need e-vites for the rehearsal dinner! Do we have a head count for that? Has the Airbnb been rented for the groomsmen? Who is picking up his best man from the airport? Etc. etc. I love it. FINALLY, things for me to do! In other news… huh. Do I have any other news? Sylvie is all recovered from her surgery. She’s getting BIG! I’m reading a great book: If we were having coffee together, I would ask what you’re doing for the holiday. Right now we have no plans! My daughter will be with her boyfriend and his family. I have Saturday and Sunday off- I’ll probably run, go to the gym, read, nap… if we want to see fireworks, all we have to do is look out the window- everyone in our neighborhood will be shooting them off.
