Hitting the Ground Running
I’m off! This morning at 7 am my flight leaves for Chicago. From there, I’ll rent a car and drive straight to Valparaiso, where I’ll be put right to work. Apparently there’s shopping, flower arranging, tablecloth steaming, and more. The wedding reception has a very strong DIY component, as in, we’ll be setting everything up on our own. Then there’s the bridal shower, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and then of course the Big Day… photos, ceremony, reception… I can’t believe I originally thought I would have time to go to Indiana Dunes, and an indie bookstore in Valparaiso. Hahahahaha… that’s funny. But that’s fine. It’s officially Wedding Week, and I want to soak in every moment. I may or may not post this week! I would like to, but time might get away from me.
